Career awareness programmers by experts from various fields are conducted at regular intervals to update the students with the latest and the best career options.
Science Laboratory
Children learn science best by questioning and experimenting. The School has well-equipped labs, to facilitate the process of learning by discovery. The school Science lab provides opportunities to the students to explore the day-to-day phenomenon in a scientific manner through hands on experience.
Library
The fast developing technology may with time alter the appearance of books but will never replace it. The mission of the S.R.H.S.S. Library is to support the school curriculum, promote appreciation of literature, and encourage information literacy skills. The school library is spacious and well-stocked with a wide collection of books from across the world - encyclopedias, reference books, auto-biographies, classics, fairy tales, magazines etc. The library is opened to all bona-fide students and staffs of the school and an experienced and a qualified librarian helps the students in their quest for knowledge.
Tuck-Shop
For the convenience of the students, the school has an in house tuck-shop selling essential stationery items, curriculum books of all the classes, school approved uniforms, and the Scholar Badges, which are badges of excellence for students excelling in various fields.
Inter House competitions are conducted during Sports week which is a regular feature in the school calendar year, providing the students maximum opportunity to develop in them the essential qualities of leadership, friendship, sportsmanship, brotherhood and comradeship, which are vital for the all round development of a child.
Co-Curricular activities are equally important in the all round personality development of the students. The school, therefore, makes the utmost effort to offer plenty of opportunities in these areas by conducting quiz, debates, extempore speeches, seminars symposia and also invites intellectuals as guest lecturers to impart knowledge on the related subjects and other general awareness.
The school grandly celebrates the school's foundation day cum literary meet where recitations and various other competitions like dance, music, drawing, theatre, mono-acting etc. are conducted. The prize winning literary composition, arts and other articles written by the students and related teachers are published in the annual school report and sent to respective parents/guardians/teachers.
In addition to theoretical knowledge, the practical knowledge of seeing and exploring things first hand is a part of S.R.H.S.S. educational system. Study tours and excursions to various educational sites and historical monuments are organized at frequent intervals under the supervision and proper guidance of the related subject teachers.
Application forms for registration must reach the office of the Principal, within the date notified on the school notice board.
Registration forms must be filled and signed by the applicant in his/her own hand writing. Incomplete application forms will be instantaneously rejected.
English, Alternative English, MIL (Manipur), Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Mathematics, Home Science and Computer Science.
Note: Home science is an optional subject offered to the girls
Applications for admission to the school must be made in the prescribed form attached to the prospectus which can be obtained from the School office. Admissions are strictly on the basis of merit, guided by the rules framed by the admission committee of the school. No pressure for admission from any quarter will be entertained. Once admission is sought, no claim for refund of fees will be granted.
The academic session for nursery to class V starts from the first week of February and for classes VI to X by first week of January and ends in the first week of December.
The academic session for class Xl begins in the second week of July.
The academic session for class XII begins in the second week of April.
A student must have a minimum of 75% attendance in an academic session in order to qualify for appearing the final examination as a regular student.
Students whose attendances are below 75% will not be allowed to sit for the final examination.
Leave may be granted to students only in cases of prolonged illness supported by a medical certificate.
All students of the school are to abide by the rules and regulations of the school authority. Students are expected to maintain a high standard of discipline in all spheres, failing which the school reserves the right to take actions against the erring student.
School properties such as furniture, library books, electric fans, lab equipments, toilets etc. should be utilized with due care.
Smoking, chewing of tobacco and beetle nuts in and around the school campus is strictly prohibited. Stern actions will be taken against any student indulging in it.
For the maintenance of a peaceful academic atmosphere in the school, students are to avoid creating unnecessary noises, gossiping or sitting along the school corridors and verandahs but to wisely utilize the allotted timings as per the schedule.
Students coming to school without his/her complete uniform will not be allowed inside the classroom/school premises and may be sent home.
Leave may be granted on producing an application of leave stating a valid reason(s) signed by parents/guardians.
For High School Section
For Boys: White full shirt, Bottle Green long pants, Black shoes, white socks, Bottle Green Sweater/Blazer, Bottle green tie with double golden strips, school badge and belt.
For Girls: White full shirt, Bottle Green frock (Classes Nursery - IV), Bottle green skirt (Classes V - VIII) and Bottle green Phanek (Class IX and X) with waist coat (Class V - X) only, Black shoes, white socks, Bottle Green Sweater/Blazer, Bottle green tie with double golden strips, Green ribbon, school badge and belt.
Note: Monday and Thursday will be house co/our T-Shirt with white pants, White socks and Black shoes for boys and for girls white skirt with colour strips (Class I VIII) Bottle green Phanek (Class IX & X) white socks, black shoes and house colour T-Shirt. House colour ribbon and school belt are compulsory for girls. Bottle green waist coat is also compulsory for girls from class V to X.
For Higher Secondary Section
For Boys: Cream Colour full shirt, Coffee colour long pants, Black shoes, white socks, Coffee color Sweater/Blazer, Coffee colour tie, school badge and black belt.
For Girls: Cream colour full Shirt, Coffee colour Phanek with coffee and cream check waist coat, Black shoes, white socks, Coffee colour Sweater/Blazer, Coffee colour tie, white ribbon, school badge and belt.
